Friends is a neighbourhood wine bar in Vinohrady. A basement space on Rumunská Street where people come for wine, but stay for the people. A place where neighbours, friends and new guests meet, where you can slow down for a while, sit back and simply be. A wine bar where everyone can feel a little at home.

The place has been around for years and has its regulars. Today it is run by Šárka and Štěpán, who returned to Prague after sixteen years in the countryside. Šárka spent her entire professional life caring for people as a doctor, while Štěpán worked with his hands. They did not come to create a new place, but to build on what was already here, preserve its atmosphere and add something of their own.

You will find Moravian and international wines by the glass or bottle, cheese and charcuterie boards, and a space for long evenings and good conversations. We are happy to recommend something, but we never lecture. Everyone is welcome, whether you know your wine or simply choose by the colour of the label.

Open every day from 4 pm. We close with the last glass of wine.
